Location: Point Lonsdale, Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, Victoria, Australia
This picture was taken from a nearby bunker to the Port Lonsdale lighthouse.
The bunkers where placed at the opening to Port Phillip Bay before/during (I'm not sure) WW2 because it was thought that a sea attack would take place and they were put there for precautions.
The Port Lonsdale lighthouse celebrated it's centenary in 2002 and is possibly the last manned lighthouse in Australia.
It looks over The Rip, as it is known, one of the most notorious entrances to any bay in the world.
